Micro Weddings In PA

Christina & Mike’s Micro Wedding in Pennsylvania was a wonderfully fun and truly unique celebration that felt completely theirs. I had such a great time working with Christina to help curate the blooms she envisioned for their day. She wanted something whimsical and full of wildflower charm for their summer wedding — yellow daisies, feverfew, ferns — and left the rest of the palette and textures up to me.

Mike and Christina also wanted their day to feel communal and hands-on, so Christina set up a bloom bar where family and friends could help design the centerpieces, adding personal touches and plenty of laughter. From the checkered ribbon accents to Mike wearing his Vans, their wedding perfectly captured the spirit of an alternative summer celebration.

Choosing to have their micro wedding at the house they share made the day feel even more intimate and deeply personal. It built on the many memories they’ve already created together, filling familiar rooms with new moments to cherish. It’s a reminder that sometimes all you truly need for a wedding is your partner, your closest friends and family, and an abundance of love.

My second Micro Wedding to mention is Abbey and Mike’s celebration in Jim Thorpe, PA. From my very first meeting with them, I could feel the deep love they shared and I was thrilled at the chance to be part of their special day. Their autumnal color palette was ideal for a late November ceremony, and as fate would have it, the first snow of the season arrived—adding a magical, frosted backdrop to their intimate wedding in the Pocono mountains.

I was also able to provide florals for their wedding cake, which turned into a stunning, romantic explosion of blooms atop their delicious white cake. Their ceremony was then followed by an intimate dinner with the people closest to them — a cozy, heartfelt way to bring their perfect day to a close.

As a florist, when I am part of such a small, intimate wedding, it makes the occasion feel even more special and deeply important to me. Micro weddings have a way of making your celebration feel exceptionally personal and uniquely tailored to your story. That intimacy is exactly what we strive for at Gothic Ties — obsessively romantic, meticulously crafted, and unmistakably you.
